Lidia was born in a town called Backa Palanka located in Serbia. She moved to Chicago, IL with her parents when she was a year old. She graduated from DePaul University with a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Shortly after college she left her job at a personnel firm to pursue acting and modeling in Chicago. She moved to Los Angeles in 2001 where she has been training and working in various theatre and independent film productions. Lidia has been credited under the names Lidia Sabljic, Lidia Mills, and most recently changed her stage name to Lidia Ryan.
